Experience this 5.2-mile loop trail near Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Generally considered a moderately challenging route. This is a very popular area for birding and hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are March through October. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. Only about 35 min from Blue Bear Mountain!

This State Park features one of the highest peaks in North Carolina's high country at 5,520 feet and one of the park system's finest trails to the breathtaking view from the summit.

This multi purpose park is on the banks of the New River in Watauga County, North Carolina. The park has a picnic shelter, permanent restroom facilities, playground equipment, playing fields, hiking trails, and even a canoe ramp.

The trails include four overlooks to the waterfalls, where wildflowers and foliage abound along the way. Please note that climbing on rocks or swimming in the water around Linville Falls is prohibited.
